We want you to love every item from Poppies Home & Gifts. If something’s not quite right, here’s how we handle returns:
🕒 Return Time-frame
In-store purchases: Return within 14 days of purchase
Online orders: Return within 14 days of delivery
📦 Return Method
Online orders must be returned by post only
In-store purchases can be returned in person at our Brechin shop
✅ Return Eligibility
To qualify for a return, items must be:
Unused and in original packaging
In the same condition as received
Accompanied by proof of purchase
🚫 Non-Returnable Items
We do not accept returns on:
Perishable goods (e.g., fresh floristry, fresh wreaths)
Custom-made or personalized items
Sale items marked “Final Sale”
Digital products once downloaded
🔁 Exchanges
We offer exchanges for eligible items if stock is available. If not, we’ll issue a refund or store credit.
💸 Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return:
Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method
Please allow 5–10 business days for processing
📮 Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for return postage unless the item is faulty or incorrect
We recommend using a tracked service for peace of mind
🛠️ Faulty or Damaged Items
If your item arrives damaged or faulty:
Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery
You must supply photographic evidence of the damage, clearly date-stamped
Contact must be made prior to returning the product
Once approved, we’ll arrange a replacement, refund, or repair at no extra cost
